Shower plumbing, likely to cause problems?

Hi,

I've added some photos. Not sure how clear they are, but basically when doing our house up, I think I hired the worst plumber imaginable and when we had tenants on our house before we moved in ourselves we had found out the initial plumber fitted the hot and cold tap the wrong way round causing the shower to got hold and cold

Had it "fixed" by a big plumbing group, but without pulling all the shower/splash wall out etc. Not quite sure what they did but they used adhesive to keep all on place. over time the adhesive is starting to come away and I'm worried it will cause some issues ?

Maybe it won't, I'm just not too clued up on what was done in the end

Looks like silicone sealant everywhere , not a problem if it’s not leaking just looks poor.I would guess they just turned the shower body round ,flex normal comes out of the bottom .

I think you're right now you mention it!

Ok it's not leaking so that's good, just getting abit loose where silicone is starting to come away.

But doesn't sound like it's a big deal.

Cheers
