looking at a Stuart Turner techflow Positive head pump 1.5 bar shower pump
and its set to 30 mins on and 30 mins off.

Presume it means after 30 mins use it needs to rest for 30 mins. What is the reason for this and are all shower pumps made this way?

thanks:)

PS sorry typo in title should read 30 mins not 20.

It's the duty cycle - the rest period is to prevent overheating. Stuart Turner Monsoon pumps are Continuous rated and so do not require a rest period
