Hi all,

Been having a problem with my shower since I installed a pump to boost the pressure.
Whats happing is that after about 5 mins in the shower the water will stop flowing and the pump noise increases as if its increasing in speed.
I then have to turn off the shower and wait a few secs before turning it back on, but within 30 secs it does it again.

I've installed a surrey flange in the hot water cylinder, but that hasn't really helped at all.

Any ideas would be really appreciated!!!

Too much restriction in the feed pipe to the cylinder.

Some were fitted with stop cocks - change to full flow ball valves.
Very long runs of 22mm are too small sometimes. Or the pipe has a blockage.

Thanks Chris,

I will check the cylinder tonight.
What causes the water to stop flowing eventhough the pump is still runnung?
