Hi, hope someone can help with a leaking shower pump (cold) flexi connector? I have been able to isolate the power and shut off the hot water supply but the cold supply is T'd into the cold feed without any isolation valve. I'm assuming I will need to shut off the rising main and empty the cold water storage tank before I can replace the flexi connector, unless anyone knows a different method? Seems pretty stupid to got to the expense of installing a pump and not bothering to isolate it, but there we go.

bung the pipe in the bottom of the tank.

then fit an isolation valve on the cold near the pump.
and you can fit one near the tank if you have to shut it to work on any taps etc.

Thanks for you prompt reply, without being rude any ideas or suitable items to bung it wth?

a carrot, cork etc.

or buy a pair bungs from bq
