I have pumped shower system serving two rooms. It's been OK for at least 20 years, and the pressure is still good but it occasionally fails to pump when the mixer tap is turned on. After a delay it gets started but then sometlmes it's slow to turn off. The pump is an unknown brand - probably from B&Q and it has what looks like two flow switches on the cold and hot pipes. These are marked Hamlin 59600-444. The whole lot has been plumbed in making it difficult to get at without removing the hot water cylinder. Can anybody advise what I am facing getting this fixed?

At that age you may well be looking at replacement especially if it needs a lot of work just too get at it.
Our go to shower pump is stewart turner monsoon won't fit anything else.

Many thanks - I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and replace the whole thing. Not cheap mind.
