Hi
I have a salamander shower pump in my airing cupboard that has started to switch itself on for a few seconds , even though we are not running the showers. Any ideas please, as it's a pain having to witch on and off.

Pump type ESP50CPV. HAS 2 showers running off it, but we only use one. Sorry don't know anything about how it's plumbed in. Has worked fine for 5 years

It's a negative head pump. Does the it have LED indicator lights fitted - if so which ones are illuminated?

It has LED lights, just the main green circular one is on.

I just called salamander pumps and he said to make a quarter turn on the screw at the top of the two pipes on the pump until it kicks in. If this doesn't resolve he said it will need taking out and a valve replacing. I'm scared to touch anything - ( ridiculous I know) does what he says make sense ?
