am looking at a stewart turner monsoon 3bar single positive pump for my gravity hot water - yet in the details it states...
Note: These pumps should not be used for:
* Supply of hot and cold water services to a common mixer.
* Supply of pumped hot water service to a common mixer where the cold supply is mains fed.
why is this? because potentially you could contaminate the cold supply? would this be rectified through the use of non return valves on the cold supply?
