I would like to install a shower pump in the airing cupboard at the base of the HWC, the current arrangement has the immersion heater a radial 20A breaker (on top of the job I know) and the Boiler on a fused (5amp) spur from the upstairs ring.

Should the shower pump be an addtional fused (5 amp) spur on the ring or would it be appropriate to incorpoarte into ring?

Regards

Shower pump would go to a new FCU - this will provide fused protection for it

You can supply to FCU as another spur, from a suitable socket (i.e. one that is not already spured from) or you can add the FCU as part of the ring

Thanks, it seems cleaner to incorporate FCU into the ring, rather than use a spur.

One thought, strictly speaking should the boiler be on a radial as well?
