Hi I'm looking to fit a shower pump to feed a shower cabin I'm fitting I was going to fit a surrey flange into the top of the cylinder but the top of my cylinder has a male thread looks like 1" bsp as part of the tank can I connect a "T" piece into the pipe coming off this thread to supply the hot water side of the pump I have the cold water coming from a separate fitting I'm putting in the water tank

It doesn't look like a fitting there aren't any nuts or seals showing it just looks like its been soldered on to the top of the tank
