Hi all.
1)Gravity combination bath/shower mixer tap in bathroom situated on the first floor of a 3 bedroom house. As not too much pressure, is it possible to put a pump in the airing cupboard or does it have to be positioned under the bath?
2) Can i run the electricity supply 4 the pump off the lighting circuit or does it have to be from the ring? Thank u.

1) either, see pump manufacturers' recommendations
2) spur off the ring, with an rcd. Ask the electrical forum for details.

Or if you have mains cold in the bath tap, and you have access through the back of the wall the bath is on via an adjoining room cupboard or airing cupboard, fit a Trevi Boost, no electrics required and probably works better than a cheap pump.

Or fit a power shower, but requires balanced cold supply electrical involvement especially note requirement to bond cpc inside unit (4mm minimum on the whole) to extraneous pipework in bathroom, so involves more disruption.

I mostly fit a Trevi Boost in these scenarios.

Trevi Boost costs about the same as just a Trevi Therm mixer too so works out cheaper than a pump.
