Hi

Just after some advice on recommended shower brands and which is best.

So far its between bristan, mira or aqualisa

Want to get a decent one so it lasts

Assuming you mean mixers? forget anything Bristan.
Can’t go wrong with Triton.

Fitted a couple. The controls feel tacky in comparison. Maybe just the ones i’ve fitted are on the cheaper side.
others may disagree.

If your looking at the sub £100 bristan mixers they are what they are cheap and cheerful still have a decent warranty.
The bit more expensive one's are fine even in the area I live/work in where water is described as aggressively hard.

the round bodied mixers are extremley good.
 
Depends on your budget. I must be honest though I don't find Bristan too bad at all TBH, just my experience, their spares are easily obtained and not too expensive.
 
Agree with Herts P&D. Any bar mixer should last a few years and replacement is usually cheaper and much easier than changing cartridges on other mixers.
