Shower running hot only

I would be grateful for any advice regarding my shower which is only providing very hot water.

The shower is fed by a combi boiler. Adjusting the contols on the shower unit makes no difference. The sink faucets however provide both hot and cold water

I have no idea really other than its not a power shower nor electric shower. The shower head and controls are both mounted into the wall. The control panel is flat mounted and has two chrome rotating knobs each one with a lever, controlling temperature and pressure

it sounds like thermostatic mixer shower. if it is then some times you can remove the front cover and adjust so it gives desired temp.
cold water filter can also be blocked
if all above does not work then order internal kit/cartridge from PLUMB CENTER.
