Shower/Sink waste pipe issue

Hi all,

Had a blockage in the soil stack which I’ve now cleared via an inspection chamber next to the toilet.

Have realised the reason for the block is because the shower/sink waste pipe protrudes over half way into the soil stack and is catching a lot of the toilet waste coming from above.

What would be the best way to fix this issue? I can use drain rods to clear the blockage when it does happen but ideally want to sort the issue permanently.

Thanks!

Reducing the waste water pipes length would be the obvious thing to do. Is there a reason why you can't do that ?

Can you get a pic of where the pipe is connected to the stack? Some types of Boss are easier to alter than others!
