shower stop valve and pipe hiding!

Hi, our shower has a valve we need to turn before we start the electric show to let the water through. I was wondering if we installed a new shower could we just rip out the stop valve and not use it anymore?

Also is there a good way to box in the pipe as they are totally visible and date the bathroom substantially. If its not an easy hit for a layman would a plumber manage without much trouble? Thanks.

Yes but it is a good idea to have an isolator installed and left open.

Try and replumb the pipe if poss.
