Hi

I would be grateful of any help regrding my elderley Dad's shower which is not running hot enough for him.

I've contacted the manufacturer who says I have to remove the temp control 'knob' and adjust the cam. Thing is I'm not sure how to remove this without damaging it, so I thought it best to seek advice.

The shower is a http://www.plumbworld.co.uk/images/pwd1144tech.pdf

All help is appreciated.

Not familiar with this shower unit but you could try looking for a small grub screw on the underside of the lever, at the thermostat side of the shower unit. Once the lever is removed you should have access to the thermostat adjustment

No it has never been hot so I assume it is factory set to equal pressures.....and I guess my Dad's isn't equal.

Thanks I'll have a good look for the small grub screw, although I don't recall seeing one when i briefly had a look. Silly me was focusing on the centre of the handle looking for a cap

If anyone else knows this shower I'd be grateful of their knowledge.

Thanks

yes thats what you want the centre of the handle remove the cap and a screw is underneath pull handle off and then unscrew the crome cover.

Thanks chaps, much appreciated....I will try what you suggest.
