Hi any ideas why a shower tower wouldn't be getting water out of the main shower at the top. I'm guessing the control valve is faulty or a blockage in the pipe at the back.

By the divertor do you mean the valve on the front. If it is this I guess it is usually a new shower?

Yup, the valve that diverts the water to either the overhead, the hand held or the body jets if it has them.

They are mechanical devices though and may be able to be stripped down. Little chance that you'd be able to get a replacement valve though I wouldn't think.
