Shower Tray Smell

Hello All, I recently replaced a damaged-completely blocked 40mm waste pipe to new shower tray.
Pipe length was about 12 foot, right into the soil pipe. A smell has developed, the thing is, its not constant, but mostly at night the smell is present.
Any Ideas?

The first line causes me to think why. Did you replace the blocked pipe in a like for like fashion.

It was an old pipe that had a damaged come apart pushfit coupler,
it was all sagging.Bad blockage only became apparant when i pulled it out...
I replaced with all new solvent weld.
The Trap is just a standard 90mm shower trap
