hi,

I am in process of installing a built on in shower valve which has 3/4bsp inlets and outlets. The built in shower head I have needs a 1/2bsp wall plate. Can someone advise where it is better to reduce the pipe.

Is it better to use a 3/4 to 15mm reducer directly at the valve the use a 15mm X 1/2 wall plate,

an inline solder reduction 22mm to 15mm then 15mm to 1/2 plate or

is there a 22mm to 1/2bsp wall plate available.

Your help would be appreciated.

22-15mm male irons at the valve, straight irons as they are easier to tighten and then come out of these with street elbows if space is tight!
