Hi, we are installing a shallow shower tray with a high flow waste on it. This will run to a shared soil stack in the bathroom about 1m away. The tray and pipework will be raised above floor level. My question is, does the high flow waste provide a seal as per a u bend or do I need to install a bend of some sort? Is there anything else that should be fitted when connecting to a shared soil waste? I estimate that I will raise it by approx 10cm/4 inches and sit it on ply and blocks.
I need to check but I think it is 40mm pipe work at the moment. Is this sufficient for draining the shallow tray or should I aim for 50mm?
Thanks in advance
