Hi

I've run the 4" shower waste externally to avoid having to do some serious notching of the joists in the en suite. Pictures show pipe and existing soil stack arrangement, for neatness the ideal would be to drop straight down into the diagonal 110mm pipe (but would meaning joining through a boss into the pipe at an acute angle)

Or should I run to the vertical soil pipe with a new boss ( existing boss is redundant and everything upwards will be replaced in matching black once the toilet is changed)

Suggestions please as I can see benefits in both approaches!

I'd think bossing in to the diagnol part of the soil pipe will not give a good seal at the Boss. Even with a some flex from the shower waste pipe. I would just Boss it straight into the main vertical stack, nice and easy.
