We've recently had a loft conversion and installed a shower room up there. However, we're having a problem with the cold water supply to the aqualisa electric shower. The water becomes scalding hot in no time at all, therefore is unusable.
The aqualisa engineer said the water pressure wasn't sufficient. How do we increase the water pressure? How do you measure water pressure?
We have a combi boiler in the kitchen and a thermostatic shower in the first floor bathroom that is working well.
We thought that by having an electric rather than thermostatic shower in the loft we would avoid water flow problems when both showers were used at the same time. Obviously we were wrong..!
How do we resolve this problem...different type of shower, scrap the boiler.....?
I would be grateful for any suggestions.
Thanks, Jools
