Shower works fine in the day time but not early morning.

Hi all

Sorry if this has already been covered but I need help.

we have a shower fed via combi boiler for hot feed and mains for cold.
Basically I now have to get up and shower at 5 in the morning.

Pressure is fine but shower is cold at any position!! at this time. The only way to get a hot shower is leave the basin tap running, thats not idea with a wonderful meter.
Come 7.30 every thing is a lot better.

Mixer internals have been changed with no improvement!!
My thoughts on this is could it be mains water pressure being very high in the early mornings? I have no way of testing the pressure.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I bet any money that the original piping to your bathroom hot tap is in 22m - and all that has to drain before you get any hot out. Seen it loads of times.
