Hi,
I have a Worcester 28si Combi boiler, I am looking for advice to which shower and valve which is best suited for showering, I would like a good powerful feeling shower. Sorry, abit of a beginner at plumbing. Thanks.

well the power of your shower will depend on the mains pressure to your combi and the power of your combi

a 28si should give you a reasonably decent shower but it wont be any great shakes

you will need to install a "combi friendly" shower such as the grohe avensys on similar,, basically you need a thermostatic balancing valve

Mira brought out "pressure balanced" mixers specifically for combis.

Most are OK, but some thermostatic mixers can fight with the combi.
(Output too hot so less HW drawn, so the HW becomes hotter, so less drawn... until combi turns off.)

I have always fitted the thermostatic Mira Excel on combi boilers and never had any complaints.

As long as you stick to a good quality make and make sure that it is designed for the purpose you should have no problrms ;)

i've moved into a new house recently... my shower is supplied by a combi boiler and the pressure is shocking... i feel your pain.

in the meantime, can i help the force of water by buying a smaller shower head? the current shower head is pretty big.

I would suggest you start a new post with full details of your combi and shower etc ;)
