Hi,
I was wondering if someone could help me

I'm having a new bathroom suite, but wanted to take the old bath and basin out to let it dry for a while where it's been leaking .

I've used a blanking nut on a radiator to shut it off before when decorating, is it possible to put the same sort of nut basin and bath pipes?

Thanks

Yes but don't fit cheapo service valves,

Something like this...http://www.screwfix.com/p/pegler-ball-valve-blue-15mm/11085

That will depend on the size of the pipework, I cant see it from here, think its time you phoned a Plumber!!!
