You couldn't be more wrong. If you go back and look at the riot threads I was the only one supporting the young black lads that have been left as an underclass. Did you show them any compassion? Go and have a look at what you wrote and get back to me.

As far as your family goes - it's up to YOU to support them - not for me to do so. A single mum comes home from work and does all the housework - but she doesn't get sponsored by the government to do so - so why should you be?

It make no difference how long you pay into an insurance scheme - 40 years or 40 days - it's an INSURANCE scheme not a pension pot.

Why do you think New Lab aren't jumping up and down? Because it was Ed Moribund that put people on sick to keep the unemployment figures down when they were in power.

These are policies of the Greeks and Italians - and they are a road that will lead us to Rome.

Think back to welfare when you were a kid - and that is what you can expect in the future. Gedditt yet?

So what do you propose to stop this happening?

I propose we end our relationship with the eu for starters.
And look after the people at home.
I don't want to be ruled by the fourth reich with rulers imposed on us at their will.

Soon we will be ousted anyway as its moving towards an inner bloc of countries where the euro will survive. A ten country dictatorship with germany at the helm which will be antagonistic to the UK and other world states.

I've just seen Nigel Farage on the Politics Show - he made good sense.

What argument is that? Either it's means tested or its not. The thing is that to claim disability you must be severely disabled - and 90% of current claimants aren't. Therefore it'll save billions.

It is, after a defined period. Probably because of your going to be long term they have to re-asses. Why would you have to be severely disabled to qualify?
What would you class as a lost arm for example and 4 years of getting back to a fit state to work ( An example of a friend).
How about losing a thumb, taking 9 months to be able to return to work?
A heart attack, 3 years later a return to work?

Which one would qualify for no payment?

That's not for me to decide - but the government that you voted for.

Mervyn King

has stated clearly that the people most affected by these cuts were not responsible for them and that he assuemd there would be MORE uproar about them.
The people who are responsible bankers, financiers and the rich are just carrying on as normal ...they should be made to pay for what THEIR greed has done

In Greece People never paid their taxes which is why they are in the state they are in,

Corporations in the UK of which TESCO is about the most famous avoid BILLIONS of pounds of taxes on money WE spend in their shops.

Vodafone got let off an £8 Billion tax bill no one bats an eyelid

becuase George, David and the rest of the s**M who are in power are all in that happy club

meanwhile EVERYONE else is in it together but they are NOT

It's the capitalist model that is failing. The banks were simply doing what they've always done.

The.capitalist model didn't fail on it's own merits it was the complete lack of regulation of the industry the world over by ignorant and greedy governments.

Funny how countries such as germany who kept a stricter control of these scumbags are now in a good position and in germany s case actually giving out tax cuts!

Anyone with ANY sense could see what was going to happen and now the poor and disadvantaged pay the price... again

So why didn't the opposition point this out? No Oz banks needed bailing out or Canadian. New Labour had one mantra, "Borrow, borrow, borrow, spend, spend, spend - and to hell with the consequences. When the Sh*t hits the fan we'll be long gone."

Dont remember the tories telling them to stop seeing as they were benefitting very nicely from it themselves

in fact the tories are always pushing for deregulation so dont make out like they would have done much different

remember Maggies crash in the late 80's early 90's ?

The idea that de-regulation is behind the crash is an utter red herring. The crash came because banks were allowed to make advances that exceeded the value of their security. Nobody envisaged 125% mortgages for first time buyers or hedge funds betting on stock market losses when deregulation took place so the legislation wasn't designed for it.

So why, when that happened did the Iron Chancellor / Prudence Brown / not bring in a simple bit of legislation to prevent advances that exceeded the value of the security?

Because he was a stupid cock enamoured with his city suitors and addicted to the tax revenue that they gave him.

That's why the crash happened.

basically no bank should have allowed to let people borrow beyond their means

end of...but 10X salary what a joke
