Hello, Ive just bought a 2008 ford focus style 1.8, lovely car...but within two days, the driver side side light was out. I thought it would be a doddle to fix as on my old shape focus it was not a problem. This however is a different story!

If there is anybody out there who can provide a comprehensive guide as to how its done (in laymans terms!) then it would be greatly appreciated!!

there might be a flap in the wheel arch to gain access,or you might have to take the headlight out.

On the focus Im familiar with there is 1 T30 torx screw on the top that holds it to the slam pannle, undo this and unclip the headlight and access should be obvious.

However if its the very latest shape and it looks alittle like this in the engine bay - http://z.about.com/d/cars/1/0/Q/-/1/ag_08focus_engine.jpg

Then try undoing the 2 bolts that you can see in the pic holding the headlight into place and see if the headlight will then unclip :)
