I found the following shower installation

6mm2 T&E from shower to a ceiling light switch neutral in chop block and live fed in and out.

T&E went across loft to airing cupboard to 30A JB from JB flex to a 13A plug which was plugged into a two way adaptor in a single socket.

The outer insulation on flex was crumbling due to heat.

In same house found extended ring in flex!
