Can the colour coded mirror covers on a Ford Sierra Sapphire be changed without breaking them? I have had to replace one mirror and the only one I could find was the wrong colour so wondered if the cover would come off the old one and I can swap them over? I have had a cautious try but don't want to end up breaking them. If they will not change over will try painting it, but am not too sure how well acrylic will take on plastic?
