Where is the b****y paint code!!!

Help,

I am trying to find the paint code on a Ford Mondeo. Ive looked on the drivers side door pillar and theres a label but I have no idea if one of the figure is the paint code.
Ive looked under the bonnet and theres nothing and to be honest I dont really know what im looking for.

The car is 2003 mondeo, the colour is performance blue but i cant see a code anywhere.

I ended up going to a ford dealer and getting the colour charts out. It is also possible, I believe, for the dealer to get the colour code from the number plate.

Nope you can't. We are linked up to the VLA. Paint code is not included.
Paint code is on the front panel under the Bonnet or can be at the rear near the wiper motor.

Thanks. I actually phoned the ford dealer and they did on fact get the paint code from my registration. Trouble is, they seemed to think that Id only get it from a ford dealer, but then they would think that wouldnt they!!
