Do I need to put silicone between the nut and shroud of the shower. I have siliconed the shrouds back. Thanks

Silicone around shower connectors

If the shrouds and gap in between the pipe tails are sealed so no water can travel back into the wall then no more should be required.
I sealed the shrouds as I pushed them back if that's what you mean?
