Iv got a Baxi 105e or as I call it the cash machine

Im fitting a new diaphragm (again)

I think I need to put "silicone grease" on the pin that goes through it when the hot water is ran to prevent it from failing again.

could anyone let me know if this is correct and if silicone grease is the correct stuff to use.

Thanks very much.

Silicone grease will be ok, but silicone grease is not a long term lubricant, and you can't really use anything else. Ideally thing using silicone grease should be serviced annually. This is a fantasy though, as nothing is done till they fail.
