Silka Setting Sand

I am fed up with clearing weeds from my 15 year old block paved drive.

The blocks are closely fitted, about 2mm. This means that most products are not suitable , needing a space of 5mm+. The BP area alone is over 150M2.

I can find only two commercial options - Dansand and Silka Setting Sand.
After working out that Wickes are probably the cheapest for Dansand, I had second thoughts - I wound them have to seal the whole are as well, and reports are variable as to the permanency.

I think the favourite seems to be Silka. There is a significant cost of time and £££’s, so was hoping fir some real life experience comments.

Has anyone used this with succces, or otherwise. Best source for speed and price?

Use products like patio magic twice a year and sand joints when required.

There are a few drives on our estate that were like brand new for years. Not a weed in sight.
House was sold and the paving was covered in weeds within months
