Sime 80Combi Ch but no hot water

Can anyone suggest what the fault is on the above. The central heating is fine, but when hot water is called for the boiler fires up hw pipe at boiler end gets hot, but then shuts down after about 10/15 seconds.

What you have said does not seem very clear.

You might have a diverter valve fault.

Just to clarify , the central heating works fine, but as soon as a tap is turned on hot water only flows for about 10 seconds before the boiler shuts down and then only Luke warm water is supplied.
