Sime Format 80/100c Diverter Valve

Hello, I have the schematic for the diverter valve but would appreciate seeing an actual photograph of the disassembled head of the valve. The schematic appears to show a larger spring over the spring of the diaphragm spring. However there is no such spring in my valve.
My boiler provides hot water but no central heating. Am I missing a spring.

Any help would be appreciated.

Do you mean the large spring between parts 6 & 7 in your diagram ?

Yes. That's the one.

there are a few different diverter valves on the Format can you post a pic of the one you have, if the brass one that spring needs to be there

Any chance you have a photo of it disassembled?

There is a photo of one disassembled somewhere on here I have seen it, you will have to search for it, but you definately need that spring or the heating wont work
