Sime super 90+ timer not working

Hello I was wondering if you could be able to help me here.

I've a Sime Super 90+ combi boiler which has an analogue timer built in, it's a little round dial with teeth which you push down to set the time, however this keeps stopping moving round and as such it's difficult for me to set the time for when it's to come on.

Does anyone know if this is easy to fix or would I need a replacement.

Alternatively could I buy one of those external timer boxes to control the boiler?

replace it or fit an external timer its your choice

if you ain't got a roomstat a programmable stat might be worth thinking about
