Bit of a daft one really..

When using LSX as a jointing compound, do you smear it on the threads and wind up the coupling, or, smear on the threads, leave it for 1 hour and then wind the coupling up? So the coupling cuts it's own path through solidifying LSX..

Bit confused about instructions on box.

what, sitting and relaxing.............

...........I treat my missus too good  ;)

You don't leave at all - you smear it on the joint and make it on straight away.

When you say "coupling", you're not putting it on a compression coupling, are you?

tis the the only way to treat the missus, t-dubbya, good, reeeaal good lol

softus: It's a HWC union i'm on about mate, 1" female to tank male, i'd never think about using it on a rad valve! never had the need... problem is, even LSX on her main tank threads i'm worried about splitting her wide open..
