Single skin brick

This may seem like a daft question. Our porch is single skin brick. Could we hang coats up on that wall. A piece of wood with coat hooks on? It's not the fixings that concern me it's the damp issue. Would we be able to hang coats up or would they get mouldy?

Might be ok if you have hooks that keep the coats away from the wall -that way there will be some air movement behind.

It kind of depends on whether the wall and porch generally get damp or not.

So should we put some kind of vent in for air flow? It will probably be able to vent through the roof. New roof so breathable felt etc?
