This is our house before we started an extension. We had done a complete renovation of the house including external insulation, underfoot heating, thermal store, whole house heat recovery, all new wiring and all new plumbing. It was always in our minds to extend but budgets meant it had to be done later.
This conservatory was a really useful space when the house was a building site but was never really our idea of a useful living space.
