Hi there,

I've had to replace the gully on my workshop - the builder has a really small gradient, and it has never drained correctly.
Anyhow, I've dug the lot up, and replaced the 50mm pipe run with 110mm back to the main sewer.
My question is, I really don't like having a sink discharge into the top of the gully - it always gets messy etc, so I would really like to connect the sink directly to one of the spare 40mm inputs to the gully and bury that.
I'm assuming I need some kind of small soil stack or air vent - but I'm not so sure on the best/easiest method.

The gully take only discharge from a sink, plus rain water from the guttering.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Steve

Actually, just popped the gully in the shower to fill it with water - I now see that the side entry is always above the later level, so no problem it seems.

Cheers.
