Hello everyone,

Yesterday we had a blocked kitchen sink which I tried to sort out using an pipe/drain attachment I bought a few years ago for my pressure washer (this one), except that it got stuck and I couldn’t remove it so I had to dismantle the pipes underneath the sink to get it out as it was stuck in the trap. I had to remove some of the pipework to remove it.

Whilst the pipes were out, I cleaned them in the outside tap but when trying to put it all back together, the part which connects to the underside of the basin is also come apart which I must have done by accident. I can’t see that it’s threaded like the pipe joints so I don’t know how to connect the basin back to the pipe work.

Should be a screw/bolt from the top, through the sink into that part.
Oh wow… I took that screw out through the strainer because the drain attachment nozzle didn’t fit through the strainer. I hadn’t noticed because it wasn’t lined up when I looked through the hole in the sink.

Literally just lined it up and it was so obvious. I put plumber’s mait around the seal underneath as it looks like there is some remnants of it being there previously and now the sink is back in action.

Thanks a lot, really appreciate it!
