Anyone any tips for a leaking bathroom sink basin, underneath the waste pipe ,above the trap/ubend directly where the sink meets the waste pipe, i have tried standard selant.

Basin mate.....rubber bung fitted onto plug hole waste and a nut screwed behind it to seal it up......works every time.......3 quid from plumbcenter
