I am thinking of replacing my inset sink with a sit-on one, because the laminate worktop round it keeps getting wet and the silicone seals fail and everything gets wet and mouldy. At the moment the washing machine is under the draining board and the sink bowl sits above a 600mm kitchen unit. (There is nowhere else the washing machine can go.) If I fit a sink such as the B&Q utility sit-on sink how do I support the draining board, please, as it will not be sitting an a worktop any more? I suppose at the back it could be fixed to/supposrted by the back wall and at the free end attached somehow to the new worktop end.

The kitchen by the way is 2.4m long and narrow and everything has to go along one wall, so I can't even fit in a fridge, let alone a dish washer, but I can't manage without a washing machine or a cooker!
