In a new house ( see previous post) and space has been provided for a Washing machine and dishwasher (it's a posh one 
). However some of the electrics seem a bit dubious. In particular the sockets for both of these devices are immediatly beneath a sink and in the middle of all the plumbing. They are standard surface mount sockets screwed to the back panel of the kitchen units, is this right? Should I change them for waterproof ones at least?
Incidentally they also used Cat5e cable for the integrated audio system, its as bad as using bell wire!
