I am planning on building a wooden shed sized 2.5m x 2.5m. I will have timber stud work with plywood lining and log classing as exterior finish. Insulation and plasterboard internally. The roof will be rafters with plywood and rubber covering. Inside the shed, will be the usual clutter as well as a chest freezer and tumble dryer.

Q. For this size and weight of shed, how thick should the concrete slab be and how should it be constructed? I assume concrete slab is the way to go...

You could use adjustable feet for the base, and they sit on plastic grids.. Set into the hardcore, or gravel.. Google this, save a few quid

As for concrete, 100mm on a 75 mm hardcore base will be plenty
