i will have to put the cables through my self so i can hide them in the walls ,how many leads come from the dish in total and what will i need ,

what im after is the sky fitter being able to fit the dish and then connect to the cables i have put through myself

you need to tell sky as its a "multi room" you want its extra an sky guy will lay cables around under carpets etc , with sky + you get 2 cables from the dish to the reciever as sky+ uses 2 lnbs at dish ...

I do my own sat work. Sky allways have 101 reasons usually backed up by a enormous estimate why you can't have your dish where you want it.....

Use good quality materials & take your time ........ It isn't hard ........ Well it couldn't be ..... 90% of Skys muppets can't string a legible sentence together

Sky plus has a 4 point lnb which will feed two sky plus boxes as two cables are required for each box.
All you would need to do to get tv in another room is to buy a magic eye, connect a normal coaxial cable via the rc output on the box, run it up to the second tv, connect the eye into this tv and plug the coaxial in and once you have set up the sky box via the hidden menu you can then control your box from another room.
Simple
