Skylight opening mechanism

I have an old skylight from the 90s. The mechanism to open and close it is a bar which you rotate. The bar itself is connected to the wall which allows you to push the skylight up.
Does anyone know what this mechanism is called ? I lost a clip whilst doing some repair and can't seem to find anything on the net about it.
