As the title really. Five inches of concrete over hardcore, MOT and sand. Just wondering: How long for foot traffic, how long before the timber comes off, and how long before a sips floor can go down on battens. It was down around 3:30 pm today. Thanks.

Depends on the concrete was it volumetric or mixer lorry or mixed up on site with a small mixer?
The first two will have far too much water in them and take longer to set and harden. Most of slabs I've done by hand 3 ton 9 " rebar for my garage was about 3-4 days.

Leave the shutter timber on for as long as needs be. It will continue to scuff for days unless you have tight power-floated finish.

Thanks both. I have it under a tent at the mo, will it be safe from rain now, after nearly 20 hours? Ta. Ooh, and foot traffic?
