I have just re-tiled an area of flooring at our front door (part inside and part outside) with natural slate tiles. Is there anything good on the market to seal these with and try to 'bring them to life' - ie enhance the natural colours etc?

You can use boiled linseed oil. Apply with a rag and allow to dry. It is absorbed by the slate and brings out the natural colours. (Boiled linseed oil dries quicker than raw oil).
This is only recommended for smooth slate.
