Anyone tried a jig for laying slates like this?

Waste of money in my opinion.

Just by not rushing and throwing the slates down you will be able to easliy lay slates without the use if this tool.

nothing you can't knock up in about 2 mins with a couple of bits of roofing batten..
make a long one too so that you don't have to keep moving it every tile..
