New extension gone up with a slate pitched roof. On the open end it has been finished with compo as is traditional but would prefer a fascia similar to what you see on tiled roofs, is that possible/available? If so what is it called?

There's no need for barge boards - what you have is a wet verge neatly done over lengths of fibre cement undercloak.

If you wanted barge boards for purely cosmetic reasons it would be a simple matter to fix them below the undercloaks.

Thanks Ree, so you would be happy with the job as seen? You seemed fairly positive in your post.
